Salon Policy's
Booking Policy for Miss Arlo Hair Salon:
Deposit Requirement:
· A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required at the time of booking.
· The deposit will be credited towards the cost of your service.
Cancellation and Rescheduling:
· A minimum of 24 hours' notice is required for any cancellation or rescheduling for appointments Wednesday - Saturday. (see info regarding Tuesday appointments)
· Failure to provide the required notice will result in the forfeiture of the deposit. If no deposit has been paid upfront then you will be charged 50% of your booked Service.
· If you reschedule/cancel within 24 hours, your deposit will be kept, and a new deposit will be required for future appointments.
· Deposits are transferable to future appointments if a minimum of 24 hours' notice is given for Wednesday - Saturday appointments.
· For Tuesday appointments, changes and cancellations must be made before close of business on Saturday of the week prior to the appointment due to our business closure on Sunday and Monday. Failure of this will require a loss of deposit or a 50% cancellation/rescheduling fee of the booked service.
Late Arrival and No Shows:
· If you are more than 15 minutes late for your appointment, your deposit will be considered forfeited.
· In the case of a no-show, your deposit will be considered forfeited.
· No shows will require a deposit for all future appointments.
Premium Service and Client Etiquette:
· Miss Arlo aims to provide a pampered and bespoke service to each client every visit.
· To ensure the best possible experience, we kindly request that you observe the following:
· Please arrive on time for your appointment.
· If you are unable to make your appointment, please let us know as soon as possible to allow others to fill your appointment slot.
· We strive to create a relaxing environment, so we kindly ask you to put your phone on silent and respect everyone else's time and relaxation.
· Children are welcome, but we encourage you to bring something to entertain them.
· If you schedule a colour appointment, please avoid wearing white or high-collar tops as we aim to prevent any damage to garments during the colouring and rinsing process. Miss Arlo does not take responsibility for any clothing or personal items.
Confidentiality and Privacy:
· Your details provided to Miss Arlo are kept confidential and are for our records only.
· If there is a preferred method of contact you would like us to avoid, please let us know.
· Miss Arlo is bound by the Privacy Act 1988.
· As a Miss Arlo client, you may be asked if you would like to be featured on our social media. No images will be used without your permission.
Adjustments and Notices:
· Please note that if any adjustments need to be made after your appointment, we require notice within one week of the initial service that was performed.

When you book an appointment with us, please understand that we reserve that time specifically for you. Late cancellations, rescheduling, or no-shows can significantly impact our business and inconvenience other clients who could have utilized that time slot.
We understand that emergencies happen, and we are empathetic towards unforeseen circumstances. However, consistent patterns of late cancellations, rescheduling, or no-shows are not sustainable for our business. We kindly request your cooperation in providing us with ample notice for any changes to your appointment.
By booking with Miss Arlo Hair Salon, you agree to abide by the aforementioned policies regarding deposits, cancellations, rescheduling, late arrivals, and the special requirements for Tuesday appointments. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to providing you with exceptional service.
